The shape of the pressure guide impeller is complex. Today, we will introduce three ways of suction chamber and impeller
(1) Conical tube suction chamber. Used for small single-stage single suction cantilever centrifugal pumps, its structure is simple, easy to manufacture, and its function is to concentrate and accelerate the liquid flow in front of the impeller inlet, making the flow uniform and reducing losses;
(2) Spiral suction chamber. The flow situation in this suction chamber is good and the speed is relatively uniform, but the liquid flow enters the impeller before pre rotation, which will reduce the head to a certain extent. However, for low specific speed pumps, this effect is not very significant. At present, both cantilever centrifugal oil pumps and centrally opened multi-stage volute pumps in China use this type of suction chamber;
(3) Circular suction chamber. This type of suction chamber has a simple structure and short axial size, but there is impact and vortex loss before the liquid flow enters the impeller, and the liquid flow is not very uniform. It is commonly used in multi-stage segmented centrifugal pumps;
There are three forms of impellers
(1) Closed impeller. There are front and rear cover plates, and the flow channel is closed, with high hydraulic efficiency, suitable for high lift, and suitable for conveying clean liquids;
(2) Half open impeller. Only the rear cover plate has no front cover plate, and the flow channel is semi open, suitable for conveying liquids containing solid particles and impurities;
(3) Open impeller. No front and rear cover plates, completely open flow channels, commonly used to transport slurry or paste liquids;
